Chester City Centre Castle Street Castle Street is a narrow one-way street located within the city walls. The street runs from Lower Bridge Street towards County Hall and the Castle. Travel by Car The M53 and M56 motorways lead onto the A55 dual carriageway which runs around Chester from the North to the South West and into North Wales. The easiest way to Castle Street is from the South, from the A55 up the A483, passing Chester Business Park and crossing the river. Immediately after the river on the right is the Little Roodee car park. It is a short 5 minute walk from here to Castle Street. Parking There is very limited parking available behind 15 Castle St. Arrangements need to be made in advance for facility. The Little Roodee is the nearest car park. It is possible to find "short stay" car parking spaces on Lower Bridge St, or a limited amount of 10 min parking at the end of Castle Street. Park and Ride Pick up and drop off points are shown on the map. Train Regular free buses run from Chester Railway Station to the city centre. |
